More Disney Scrapbook Pages

Walt Disney World August 2012. Our second vacation EVER, and our first child free vacation!   This is the first page of the book.  Goodies cut with dies & the Big Shot. Puffy letter stickers are from Hobby Lobby.   We stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort. It's a moderate resort as far as pricing. It's really pretty, and just HUGE!   I ordered a gift basket from Memories By Betsy, and surprised Pete with it.   Lovely things in China.  Plants were cut on the Cameo. Flowers are Prima. Downtown Disney. We got there about an hour before anything opened and just walked around, enjoying the quiet and chatting with the birds. Here's Germany and the adorable train village. Yeah, we like Epcot.   Soarin'. This is right up there among my favorite pages. Letters and bridge cut on the Cameo.  Itty bitty letters are Doodlebug rub ons. Had someone cut Nemo out for me

Disney Scrapbooking

I am working on our August 2012 scrapbook. Hubs and I went to Disney World without the kids. Five glorious, kid free days in my favorite place on earth. We only did two days of parks, so we were able to spend time Downtown Disney, chilling by the pool, relaxing in the hammocks, and just enjoying our first ever vacation without kids. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort. It's a lovely resort with a fabulous food court. We liked the food court and shop a lot. The pool is pretty cool- the slide is like a wrecked pirate ship. They do the kids' activities and movies under the stars, too. The resort is HUGE however, and you'd better be prepared to do a lot of walking. These scrapbook pages are from our day at Epcot. We met Marie and Mulan. Mulan was AWESOME, we got to spend a little time with her and just loved her. Pretty simple page.  Here's my Mulan page. Everything was cut on the Silhouette Cameo machine. The flowers are Cherry Blossoms and each fl

Purse Sized Art Supplies

I thought someone out there might like to know what art/crafty goodies I have on me at all times. I know I personally LOVE looking at other's sketch kits, "what's in my bag" pics, etc. I carry a few items in my purse at all times. Partially because I get bored easily, partly because I'm on a mission to create every day, partly because I love finding cute new itty bitty things, and partly because I'm trying to 'unlpug' some and not play with my darn iPhone so much! So, here are some photos, along with descriptions. I used to carry some itty bitty colored pencils as well, but I just don't use them, so out they went. I store everything in an Iris photo   holder for 5x7 photos.    The books are both Moleskine. The bigger one is the 5x8 sketch book, the smaller one is the 3.5x5.5 watercolor book. The big one serves as my planner as well as journal and doodle book.     Inside the Iris box I have a few pens, water brush,
